[HELP] Torrentz [HELP] - G4HQ

yo. Um, I was just wondering.. While Downloading Torrentz using Qtorrent or what ever, Does how much you DL go to your internet bill? ?!?!
Like, If I wanna DL somthing thats 50 gig's and the .torrent is only 2MB does only 2MB go to my billing?

You download the torrent and thenrun the torrent through a downloader much like Bittorent or limewire ect.. in otherwords it will be about 50gig and 2mb.

using a torrent is basically downloading it from multiple people or servers, not just one server like normal downloads

yes it takes bandwidth

The 2mb thing is the tracker which contains all the information for you ( basically, the program ) to be able to download it. Then, it locates seeders which you leech from to get all your bits to combine into the correct file. This makes the process of downloading faster, therefore some people distribute files on there.

The catch is, if you are on a limited bandwidth, you are able to look at the settings ( I prefer uTorrent for Windows ) and set how much bandwidth you want to use or the maximum bytes / second. Then, you are able to let yourself know you are under it or over it. Makes sense?
